Łódź Summer Festival 2025 continues to surprise. Organizers have announced a second stage – the tent stage, set to become the heart of alternative sounds and unique performances. From July 25 to 27, this dedicated space will appear on the festival map of Łódź for those who appreciate a more intimate atmosphere and artistic diversity.

Bastille is a British synth-pop and alternative rock band, formed in London in 2010 by vocalist and songwriter Dan Smith. The group consists of Dan Smith, Chris “Woody” Wood, Will Farquarson, and Kyle Simmons. The band’s name refers to the French Bastille Day, celebrated on July 14th — Smith’s birthday. Their debut album, Bad Blood (2013), featuring the hits “Pompeii,” “Things We Lost in the Fire,” and “Oblivion,” reached the top of the UK Albums Chart. In 2014, Bastille received the BRIT Award for Best Breakthrough Act. They have performed at major festivals worldwide, including the Orange Warsaw Festival and the Open’er Festival in Poland.
Chivas, whose real name is Krystian Gierakowski, is a rapper, producer, and songwriter from Łódź, known for his distinctive image and mighty rock- and metal-influenced sound. He developed his career, among other places, at the GUGU label, which he joined after leaving New Bad Label. His debut album, Nauczyłem się przeklinać (2021), went platinum, and the subsequent releases — Młody say10 (2022) and Deathcore (2024) — solidified his position. His most popular tracks include “Anyżowe żelki,” “Opium!” and “Nienawidzę Warszawy.” He has collaborated with White 2115, Szpaku, Bedoes, and Blacha. His inspirations include Slipknot, Korn, and Deftones.
DRE$$CODE is a Polish creative collective combining fashion, music, and event production. The group consists of nine creators: Mikołaj “Bagi” Bagiński, Maciej “Maciek i Ubrania” Sekulski (MIÜ), Eryk Moczko, Inez Lis, Antek “pik pik” Matyja, Miłosz Kulesza, Wiktoria Ostrowska, Karolina Mrozicka, and Gabriela Bednarz. They began on YouTube, publishing fashion and lifestyle content, gradually expanding into music — from rap and hip-hop to electronic genres. The collective organises club events, co-creates music projects, and appears at major festivals such as Open’er Festival and SBM Festival. Maciej Sekulski, one of the group’s key members, also works as a DJ and an artist, known for tracks such as “Pasek Playboya,” “miü miü,” and “XXL.”
Happysad is a Polish rock band formed in 2001 in Skarżysko-Kamienna. It grew out of earlier projects by the musicians, who had performed as HCKF and Happy Sad Generation. The current lineup consists of Jakub “Quka” Kawalec, Łukasz “Pan Latawiec” Cegliński, Artur Telka, Jarosław Dubiński, and Daniel Pomorski. Their debut album Wszystko jedno (2004) was included in Teraz Rock magazine’s list of the 50 most crucial Polish rock albums, and the single “Zanim pójdę” spent 33 weeks on the Trójka Radio Chart. The band has released numerous gold and platinum records, including the platinum-certified Mów mi dobrze (2009).
Justyna Steczkowska, one of the most distinctive Polish vocalists, is a singer, composer, lyricist, and violinist, known for her four-octave vocal range. She comes from a musical family and studied at music schools in Stalowa Wola and Gdańsk. Her career began with winning the TV show Szansa na sukces in 1994. Her debut album Dziewczyna Szamana (1996), recorded in collaboration with Grzegorz Ciechowski, launched one of the longest and most diverse careers on the Polish music scene. Steczkowska has released 16 studio albums, received numerous awards — including six Fryderyk Awards — and represented Poland at the Eurovision Song Contest (in 1995 and 2025).
Kacperczyk is a Polish musical duo from Lublin, formed by Maciej (born 1998) and Paweł Kacperczyk (born 1999). They have been involved in music for many years — Maciej led his first band at the age of six. As Suumoo, they debuted on the festival stage. Signed to SBM Label, they have released three albums blending alt-rap, indie rock, pop, and electronic music. In 2024, they were part of the Męskie Granie Orkiestra, co-creating the single “Wolne duchy.” They have collaborated with Julia Wieniawa, Ralph Kaminski, and Artur Rojek. One of their tracks was featured on Iggy Pop’s show on BBC Radio 6 Music. In 2023, they released the album Pokolenie Końca Świata.
Nocny Kochanek is a Polish heavy metal band formed in Warsaw in 2012 as the alter ego of the group Night Mistress. Their music blends classic heavy metal inspired by Iron Maiden with humorous, often parody-style lyrics. They gained popularity with the track “Minerał Fiutta,” recorded for the animated series Kapitan Bomba – Zemsta Faraona. Their debut album Hewi Metal (2015) marked the beginning of a series of successes, and the following records — Zdrajcy metalu (2017) and Randka w Ciemność (2019) — earned strong audience acclaim; for the latter, the band received a Fryderyk Award for Metal Album of the Year. They have performed at events such as Pol’and’Rock Festival, where they won the Złoty Bączek award.
Tede (Jacek Graniecki) is one of the most influential Polish rappers and a producer, songwriter, and entrepreneur. Active on the scene since the mid-1990s, he began in the group 1 Killa Hertz and gained wide recognition as the leader of Warszafski Deszcz. In 2001, he made his solo debut with the album S.P.O.R.T., now regarded as a classic of Polish hip-hop. In the following years, he released over 15 studio albums, including Esende Mylffon, Vanilla Hajs, and Karmagedon, totalling more than 300,000 copies sold. His style blends boom bap with modern sounds, and his lyrics often comment on social reality and personal matters. Tede is the founder of the Wielkie Joł record label. He is also known for his television appearances (Operacja Tuning, Bezele), roles in films and series, and voice acting. In 2016, he received the Złota Felga award for his contribution to Polish hip-hop.
White 2115, whose real name is Sebastian Czekaj, is a Polish rapper, vocalist, and songwriter, co-founder of the 2115 collective and founder of the California Records label. He gained popularity through YouTube releases, with a breakthrough coming from his participation in the SB Starter project and joining SBM Label in 2017. His debut album Rockstar (2018) went platinum, and the single “California” became the first Polish track to surpass 100 million streams on Spotify. His subsequent albums — Młody Książę, Rockstar: Do zachodu słońca, and Pretty Boy — cemented his position in the music scene. In 2024, he moved to Sony Music and announced the album ROCKST4R. His style blends trap, pop, rap rock, and modern hip-hop.
Żabson, whose real name is Mateusz Zawistowski, is a Polish rapper, songwriter, and one of the most recognisable figures of the younger generation. He debuted in the mid-2010s, quickly gaining popularity thanks to his distinctive use of autotune, trap sound, and strong visual identity. He has released the albums To ziomal, Internaziomal, Ziomalski Mixtape, and Amfisbena, collaborating with artists such as Quebonafide, Bedoes, White 2115, and Borixon. His tracks — including “Księżniczki,” “Jakie to uczucie?” and “Wiadomość” — have amassed millions of streams. He has performed at major Polish festivals, including Open’er Festival and Męskie Granie, and his work has been nominated for Fryderyk Awards multiple times.
Kuqe 2115, born Łukasz Dziemiński, is a Polish rapper, vocalist and songwriter, and a member of the 2115 collective. He began his career as Bedoes’ hypeman, performing dozens of concerts across Poland starting in 2019.
In 2022, together with the 2115 crew, he founded his own record label and co-created the album “Rodzinny biznes”, which achieved diamond certification and became the most-streamed album in Poland in 2023.
Kuqe’s debut album, “Nareszcie w domu” (2025), debuted at number one on the OLiS chart and earned platinum status. Singles such as “Taki mały ja” and “Tytus Bomba” have amassed millions of streams. His style blends trap, melodic rap and emotionally driven storytelling.
One of the most influential Polish hip-hop duos of the past decade. PRO8L3M, formed by Oskar Tuszyński and Piotr “Steez” Szulc, has developed a distinctive artistic language combining hip-hop, electronic music and a retro-futuristic aesthetic.
The duo has earned two Diamond-certified albums for Ground Zero Mixtape and Art Brut 2, five albums debuting at No. 1 on Poland’s official OLiS chart, and a Fryderyk Award for Hip-Hop Album of the Year. Their releases have achieved multiple platinum certifications, while their arena shows across Poland regularly sell out well in advance.
In 2025, PRO8L3M released Ex umbra ad libertatem, which debuted at No. 1 on the OLiS chart, reaffirming their leading position on the Polish music scene. The duo is also known for meticulously crafted live productions and multimedia performances that go beyond the traditional hip-hop concert format.

Hubert., born Hubert Dorosz, is one of the most distinctive voices of Poland’s young hip-hop generation. He produces his own music and consistently develops a unique and recognisable artistic identity. Since 2023, he has been signed to Def Jam Recordings Poland.
He currently has over 850,000 monthly listeners on Spotify, while his most popular tracks – “NIE CHCĘ WRACAĆ” and “cotton candy” – have surpassed a combined 40 million streams. His 2024 album kolorowe domy achieved Gold certification and earned him a Popkiller Award for Alternative Album of the Year, as well as a Fryderyk nomination.

JET is an Australian rock band formed in Melbourne in 2001 by brothers Nic and Chris Cester. The group quickly gained international recognition thanks to a sound inspired by classic rock of the 1960s and 1970s, drawing influences from bands such as The Rolling Stones, AC/DC and The Who.
Their biggest breakthrough came with the debut album “Get Born” (2003), which sold several million copies worldwide. The record features “Are You Gonna Be My Girl”, one of the most recognizable rock hits of the early 2000s, frequently used in films, commercials and video games. Other popular songs by the band include “Cold Hard Bitch”, “Look What You’ve Done” and “Rollover DJ.”

Bedoes 2115 has released four solo albums to date, each debuting at No. 1 on the OLiS chart – the Official Sales Chart, a weekly ranking of the 100 most popular albums in Poland. Opowieści z Doliny Smoków achieved diamond certification, while his subsequent releases have repeatedly earned multi-platinum status.
His impact is equally visible in streaming. The artist has accumulated more than 2.5 billion total streams, attracts over 2.5 million monthly listeners on Spotify, and his catalog generates an average of more than 1.1 million streams per day. As the founder of the 2115 collective and label, he has played a key role in building one of the strongest structures on today’s hip-hop scene.
